Hey there! I'm Dev and I'm a

I'm an engineering student at IIT Ropar with a passion for coding, problem-solving and watching movies. I enjoy competitive programming and have a strong interest in data structures and algorithms using C++ and Python. I've also developed multiple web-based projects using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Streamlit. My curiosity has also led me into tech roles in campus fests and event management.

Outside of tech, I actively participate in Tennis and have experience in sponsorship, videography, and managing events at IIT Ropar's major fests like Advitiya, Aarohan, and Zeitgeist.

CFS Linux Scheduler

Implemented the CFS scheduler in Linux, using Red-Black Trees and "nice values" to handle CPU time allocation and task priority dynamically. Detailed GitHub documentation provided.

Movie Recommendation System

Built a content-based movie recommender with TMDb sentiment analysis using Streamlit, scikit-learn, NLTK, and Pandas. Features include keyword search, UI, and visualizations.

Planet Fitness Web App

Developed a dynamic fitness app with React and TailwindCSS that generates personalized workout plans using conditional rendering and user-defined parameters.
